For as long as I can remember,
I've been fascinated with structure.

I grew up in a family of 5 making less than $15K/year in the 80s and early 90s, my mother an immigrant from Israel to New York City, and my dad the son of Italian immigrants in Syracuse.

My first several years were spent on the small island of Molokai, in Hawaii, followed by my parents moving us to Albuquerque, New Mexico. I was home-schooled until high school, and upon arriving there found that I had missed years of social lessons my classmates already understood. As a result a lot of my life has been spent learning how people interact.

I also try to spend as much time as possible giving back and reinforcing entrepreneurs and creatives.

Some of the ways I do that include: mentoring / advising entrepreneurs and startups, writing, playing music, booking bands and artists for warehouse / gallery shows, and running Coffee + Creatives, a meetup + online group for creatives and creative businesses of all kinds. I am also an advisor for Black Remote She and the New Mexico Local News Fund, and serve as a community lead for Albert’s List, the largest San Francisco Bay Area job/careers group.
